The Parrot Asteroid: Android-Powered Auto Stereos.

WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

The Parrot Asteroid is Packed with Convenient Navigation Features. (Video below)

Stereos in cars are obviously common, but how many of them are actually Android-powered like the Parrot Asteroid?

The great thing about the Parrot Asteroid is that aside from just being a car radio, it does so much more that a GPS doesn’t. It’s kind of like an app, only it works inside the car.

The maps application allows the individual to search for a location based on their interest. For instance, they can look for any restaurant they want, and the app will provide directions and allow them to call the place.

Then there’s the ‘Fuel for Less’ feature, which helps the driver search for a gas station while listing the price for the nearest ones. The Parrot Asteroid can also notify the individual of accidents and traffic up ahead.

Other goodies include an SD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1, voice-activated music search and phonebook sync!
