MWC 2011: MeeGo and Nokia’s next smartphones with a 1.6GHz Intel CPU inside

WorldWideTech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Details regarding MeeGo and what hardware Nokia's new fleet of smartphones will feature.
Some very detailed specs for what will potentially be inside Nokia’s next generation MeeGo smartphones .

The specs come via a German Nokia enthusiast – apparently, there are still some left out there – who dug through mountains of MeeGo bug reports, source code files and log files,.

And what he uncovered seems pretty impressive. For instance, there’s a 1.6GHz Intel CPU, a 200MHz GPU with 512MB of RAM, 1GB of system RAM, an 854x480 pixel touchscreen display, HDMI-out, HSPA+, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
As you can see, this is some pretty decent hardware – it’s certainly enough to hold its own against the likes of the HTC Desire HD and the iPhone 4. But will it be able to take on the likes of the new iPhone 5 and the Motorola Atrix?
We’re not so sure , and MeeGo is a new platform, which Nokia has to market from the ground up. Something that is never easy.

At MWC 2011 Nokia is expected to unveil these new smartphones line  of products.
